The highly recommended Woodsman Pub and Restaurant provides restaurant goers with a variety of Local, Greek - Cypriot dishes. The restaurant offers a magnificent panoramic view from atop a mountainside, with the Greek / South-African Georghiades family as genial hosts. The pub offers a separate menu and provides a scrumptious breakfast.

For the not so hungry a continental breakfast of muffins with honey, maple syrup or jam is served.

Many dishes are faithfully reproduced from Greek - Cypriot recipes. The wide variety of dishes vary from traditional rump or fillet steak to ribs, arni kleftiko (lamb on the bone, seasoned with herbs), the Woodsman platter, grilled kingklip and kalamarakia (grilled calamari with lemon, herbs and spices served with Greek rice and vegetables). Local trout is served fresh and smoked. Ostrich fillet and venison dishes are some of the other offerings.

Light meals are served throughout the day on our wooden terrace and include the typically Greek souvlaki (kebab) and chips, an array of salads, mousaka and stifadho (a rich stew made from beef, onions, red wine and spices).

The menu also offers starters ranging from sikotakia (chicken livers with origanum and fresh lemon juice) and spanakopita (spinach wrapped in phylo pastry).

For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert menu is definitely not to be missed, with their baklava, halva ice cream and Greek kisses.

The pub and restaurant are fully licensed and have an assortment of local and imported wines, malt, draught beer, spirits and a variety of clever cocktails. Guests should note that a corkage charge is levied on own wines.
