The highly recommended Woodsman Pub and
Restaurant provides restaurant goers with a variety of Local, Greek -
Cypriot dishes. The restaurant offers a magnificent panoramic view from atop
a mountainside, with the Greek / South-African Georghiades family as genial
hosts. The pub offers a separate menu and provides a scrumptious breakfast. |

muffins with honey, maple syrup or jam is served. |

Many dishes are faithfully reproduced from Greek
- Cypriot recipes. The wide variety of dishes vary from traditional rump or
fillet steak to ribs, arni kleftiko (lamb on the bone, seasoned with herbs),
the Woodsman platter, grilled kingklip and kalamarakia (grilled calamari
with lemon, herbs and spices served with Greek rice and vegetables). Local
trout is served fresh and smoked. Ostrich fillet and venison dishes are some
of the other offerings. |

Light meals are
served throughout the day on our wooden terrace and include the typically
Greek souvlaki (kebab) and chips, an array of salads, mousaka and stifadho
(a rich stew made from beef, onions, red wine and spices). |

The menu also offers starters ranging from
sikotakia (chicken livers with origanum and fresh lemon juice) and
spanakopita (spinach wrapped in phylo pastry).
For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert menu
is definitely not to be missed, with their baklava, halva ice cream and
Greek kisses.

The pub and restaurant are fully licensed and
have an assortment of local and imported wines, malt, draught beer, spirits
and a variety of clever cocktails. Guests should note that a corkage charge
is levied on own wines. Visa,
